Make National Homemade Cookies Day an Annual Tradition
October 1 really kicks off the cozy Fall season and--even better--it is National Homemade Cookies Day! You do not need to be a professional baker to make a delicious batch from scratch to hand out to patients, employees, coworkers, and friends.
Why not make an annual tradition of the day? Put it out on social media and your website, letting people know to stop in for a homemade cookie and a creative photo/video. Appoint a staff member to take a photo or short video of each person that celebrates and use the results on social media (after getting permission, of course).

Ideas for photos: - Use the cookies as glasses or a single cookie as a monocle.
- Choose a fabulous pair of glasses for your patient to wear while holding up a cookie. Mention what frames they are wearing on your social media posts.
- Ask the patient/staff member to clown it up for some of the pictures/videos.
- Have a dedicated background for the event.
Events like this don't have to take a ton of time, effort, and planning...but they can give great returns! Viewers like seeing photos of themselves and others having fun on Facebook, Instagram, Tiktok, or whatever social media you use.
And if you'd like, we'll put up this photo as a popup on your site. Underneath the popup you can say something like--
"Come in this Thursday, October 1st, to celebrate National Homemade Cookies Day with us! Enjoy a cookie--or two-- and the chance to try on a fabulous frame and a fun pose...and you might even end up featured on our Instagram page!"
Message us if you'd like to have this popup added to your site!
